This formulation contains 5 forms of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a humectant found naturally in the skin where it binds to water. The forms included are low-, medium- and high-molecular- weight molecules, a HA crosspolymer, and hydrolyzed HA. The formulation also contains ceramides to help keep moisture locked in. Ceramides are lipids (fatty molecules) found naturally in the skin that help protect the skin barrier. The ceramides used in this formula are known as sphingolipids. Pro-vitamin B5 keeps the skin moisturised for longer.
